Techio Comunitario is a training program for managers in ICT networks, aimed at people belonging to indigenous and rural communities in Latin America.
In addition to providing technical knowledge for the installation, operation and maintenance of communication projects, this program seeks to generate a network of people who accompany each other to strengthen the path towards technological autonomy in their territories.
This program is the result of a collective effort of organizations linked to community and indigenous communication, based on an active process of reflection on the technologies, training and ways of life of the communities it is aimed at.
To this date, Techio Comunitario has two face-to-face editions in Mexico and training activities at an international level, in which more than 200 people committed to indigenous and community communication in Latin America have participated.
