In June 2019, the Abya Yala Community Networks Seedbed was held in Cherán K'eri, Michoacán, Mexico.
At the event, two workshops were held for graduates of Techio Comunitario and inhabitants of this territory:
- Introduction to community networks.
- Participatory design of community
intranets.
The training process took place thanks to the articulation between REDES A.C. and Altermundi, together with the support of the Association for Progressive Communications (APC).
In addition to the participatory installation of the network in Cherán K'eri and the training in both topics, a space was created to provide continuity to the first two generations of Techio Comunitario.
